Kiley Jones LSW

My name is Kiley, and I am a licensed social worker, specializing in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma-focused care, and strengths based therapy.  I am equipped to offer therapeutic services to those who have experienced trauma, are facing addiction, struggling with self worth, depression, anxiety, questioning faith/spirituality, and relational and familial struggles. Folks who choose me as their therapist will be equipped with healthy coping skills to discover peace and connection in their life. Together, we will work to heal past and current emotional and mental pain, build trust, and learn to live life with open arms, accepting the love that every human deserves to feel.

My Story

I come to counseling with a wide range of life experience. I have always been passionate about mental health work, but have had several life pivots that have taught me an immeasurable love for life, travel, and connection. I love sports and any type of physical movement. I have played fastpitch softball at every level including collegiately and professionally, which led to my stint coaching at the Division 1 level. I lived internationally in Germany and explored 12 other countries during my time in Europe. Before and during the Pandemic, I worked in both a jail setting and rehabilitation center providing individual and group addiction and trauma therapy. The experiences of my life have shaped who I am as a passion driven therapist for individuals, couples, and groups. These diverse experiences have taught me how to hold space for the nuance and complexity that comes with each one of us and how to respect each unique journey and story that I encounter in sessions..

I approach life and therapy from a strengths based perspective. There are always ways to become more accepting and loving to ourselves and others. I believe that we can all enhance our capacity for joy in life by working towards healing our deep emotional wounds and learning to be more aware of our own mental health needs. So often these journeys toward growth require self reflection and internal healing of past pain. These will be the guiding forces of our work together.

Clients who experience therapy with me can expect to feel accepted, safe, and supported through their individual journey towards healing and self growth. I work with a variety of therapeutic methods including IFS, DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing. I am comfortable and equipped to incorporate discussions of spirituality or religion into a healing journey. I also believe in the adage that “movement is medicine” and will be glad to weave this into our work together when appropriate. My work is individualized to you and tailored to your therapeutic goals.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degrees in Criminal Justice as well as Social Work and a Master’s Degree with professional licensure in Social Work.
