I strive to build genuine relationships with clients, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to share their unique stories. My approach is highly collaborative, recognizing each client as the expert in their own journey. Therapy offers an opportunity to explore how past experiences shape present circumstances. I integrate mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients harness resilience and navigate their challenges. I believe that painful experiences are an intrinsic part of the human condition, offering opportunities for growth and transformation. Understanding that healing extends beyond mental health, I address the interconnectedness of mind and body.

My Story

I hold a master's degree in clinical psychology from Benedictine University and have nearly eight years of experience in the mental health field. My professional background includes working in diverse settings such as inpatient hospitals, community mental health agencies, and intensive outpatient programs. In these roles, I have provided individual and family therapy. I have extensive experience working with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain/illness.
My goal as a therapist is to help clients identify the sources of their suffering and empower them on their individual healing journey to become their most authentic selves.
